Zeros 2 Heroes’ New Home!

Posted by Jessica under Staff Notes |

16 straight hours of lugging furniture out, cleaning, shopping, loading and unloading car, huffing plants and boxes up to the top floor and then assembling file cabinets, drawers, desks, hanging whiteboards and picture frames… (not to mention working by cell phone light after 11pm when the auto timer for the building shut the overhead lights off!) But it was all worth it. The new office is gorgeous, the view is “super terrific number 1″, and it has that shiny “new office” smell. I’m sure the novelty will wear off eventually and I’ll stop being so concerned about the pencils holders being perpendicular to the staplers on all the desks (yes, I’m one of those people ;-)) but for now it still feels pretty cool to finally be in a real home!

I’m sure our president will have something more profound to say later when we post the official office warming photos, but for now, here are some before and after pics for ya’ll to revel in…

So many pieces...
So many pieces… The file cabinet is called “Erik” and the drawers called “Andy” according to Ikea.

  • Woohoo & Congrats Z2H!

That’s a fancy looking pad! However, I didn’t see the standard issue “StartUp-Cots-for-the-Staff-&-Interns” in the pictures.

  • Ya gotta love having mountains . . .

It looks like a great setup - congratulations. I hope someday soon I’ll have a chance to visit. More than a virtual visit, I mean.

  • Seen as I’m one of those interns eating the candy I’ll introduce myself.

I’m Brian the prototyping guy, I do just that. I’m on a quick one month internship at Z2H before I start a 8 month co-op term with RIM (makers of the blackberry) doing the same thing.

The main attraction to Z2H for me was not the sweet office or being a part of the soon-to-take-over the internet phenomenon that is Z2H, it was that there is an ample supply of Surpees just down the street from our office.

  • That office is simply stunning. You guys are the real deal. Oh, and I charge by the hour on hanging up my work, ya know. :) I’m looking forward to see the office warming pics! Congratulations!

  • Hi,

    I’m the other intern :)

My name is Angelus and I’m the marketing guy. I’m very psyched about everything right now: new office, new job, new people, and it’s definitely a bonus that it takes me 2 miniutes to get to work (5 if I walk heehee!!)

    cheers,

    Angelus
